Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company in Dodge City, Kansas, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shifts and drive safety, quality, and productivity. You will supervise production employees, train and mentor staff, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

A Typical Day

The Production Supervisor is responsible for relative assigned shift and/or crew, manage to company personnel/food safety, quality, production, and leadership objectives. The Production Supervisor directly supervises production employees to maximize productivity on assigned shifts and areas.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This role requires physical exertion, exposure to potentially hazardous conditions or safety hazards. The majority of time is spending walking or standing. There are occasional periods of sedentary work. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations.
