Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division seeks a Production Supervisor for 3rd shift to join Edwardsville, IL. The role will support the transition from Troy, with full relocation anticipated by 2027.

Salary range is $71,000–$105,000 annually, aligned to experience and qualifications. The supervisor leads safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost, collaborating with functional leaders to optimize the product line and drive continuous improvement.

Eaton's Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor - 3rd Shift to join the team.

Be part of Eaton's future as we expand operations into our new Cable Tray Center of Excellence (COE) in Edwardsville, IL. This role will support the transition from Troy, with full relocation to the COE anticipated by 2027.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.

What you'll do:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and direction to employees. In this role you will manage the performance of safety & the environment, quality, on time delivery, and cost for the respective area. This position will be responsible for collaborating with other functional leaders and managers to optimize the entire product line to exceed the needs of the customer, by way of their commitment to continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

• Safety and Continuous Improvement: Drive, implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment through accident prevention, equipment maintenance, while fostering our I Own Safety policies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standard work processes are followed, countermeasures implemented towards becoming a lean organization to eliminate waste. Function as a business partner by planning, initiating, leading, measuring, monitoring, and assessing continuous improvement programs and manufacturing process improvements by applying appropriate Eaton Business System (EBS) processes and problem-solving tools such as Standard Work and 5S.
• Production Operations: Develop and establish manufacturing priorities based on the production schedule and monitor employee work requirements to meet customer deadlines. Collaboration through cross functional responsibilities in planning and distribution to meet operational deliverables. Utilize inventory management system to measure inventory levels, diagnose order completions, and monitor earned hours.
• Quality Management: Monitor control plans, troubleshoot workmanship problems, and supervise production activities to ensure manufactured products meet or exceed established quality requirements. Monitor quality of work-in-process and ensure adherence to Eaton's Quality Policy and procedures.
• Team Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage and promote a positive team environment through various strategies such as performance recognition, coaching for improvement, and development. Assist in the recruitment, selection, promotion, motivating, and counseling of employees. Collaboration through cross functional responsibilities in planning and distribution to meet operational deliverables.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree from an accredited institution and minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment OR High School Diploma and minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
• Ability to work the assigned shift (3rd shift: 11pm to 7am), respond to operational emergencies, and support rotating weekends or off-shift coverage as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing supervisory/management role
• SAP business system experience
