Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Selma, TX to plan daily operations, manage staffing and budgets, and ensure safety and quality across production lines.

Ideal candidates have 5 years of manufacturing experience with 3 years in direct supervision, plus Lean/Six Sigma exposure, and strong cross-team communication to drive continuous improvement.

Addresses issues and maintains availability to operators to answer questions as required; Actively analyze department performance against metrics and identify opportunity for continuous improvement. Creates, posts and communicates to ensure everyone understands their role in achieving plant commitments; Guide workforce in the compliance to Standard Work, recommends improvements in Work Instructions, methods, processes, policies and equipment and ensures operators are informedRequired Minimum Qualifications**Education/Certifications:** HS Diploma/GED required; Preference given to candidates with BS Degree Lean/Six Sigma certification desired**Skills and Experience:** 5 years of previous manufacturing experience, including exposure to leading/directing the work of others; Ideal candidate will have 3 years’ direct supervision experience in a manufacturing environment Previous experience in a Lean manufacturing environment, focused on continuous improvement and High Performance Work teams desired Demonstrated ability to lead by example, serving as a positive role model to others and embracing standard work required Strong communication skills required, including the ability to effectively communicate across multiple levels in the organization.
