Job summary

Bradycorp in Louisville, KY is seeking a Production Supervisor who will supervise and direct team members while overseeing manufacturing operations, leading the production floor, and coordinating activities to keep schedules on track. This role monitors safety and quality, drives continuous improvement, and ensures conformity to ISO practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate plant activities to support efficient production operations.
• Expedite operations that delay schedules and adjust staffing to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Produce quality materials by following ISO practices and eliminating non-value-added activity.
• Collaborate with Production Specialists to track status of projects and resolve schedule issues and resource use.
• Plan workflow for departments according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
• Be responsible for achieving key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with team members to meet internal and external customer needs, upholding SQDCC (safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash).

Job description

This individual supervises and directs team members while overseeing manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor spends a majority of their time leading teams and coordinating the activities of the production floor. Monitors quality levels, safety, production and the performance of team members.

• Responsible for the supervision and coordination of activities of the plant, including schedules to support efficient production operations
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters staffing to meet unforeseen conditions
• Responsible for producing quality materials by following ISO practices, eliminate non-value added activity and is held accountable for compliance to specification and conformance to policies and procedures
• Partners with other Production Specalists to ensure status of assigned projects, resolve problems affecting production schedules, effective utilization of resources, inventory assets and capital equipment resources
• Plans workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times
• Responsible for achieving key performance indicators
• Collaborates with the other team members to understand the critical needs of the internal and external customers. Assumes major responsibility for SQDCC (safety, quality, delivery, cost and cash)
