Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Role Purpose/Position Summary

As a Production Supervisor, you will oversee production, track product yields, and make necessary adjustments. Ensure safety and USDA health standards are met throughout all manufacturing steps. Provide direction to production associates in safety, service, performance, quality, and leadership. Maintain and enhance customer relationships, plant assets, and foster a positive employment atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and direct plant production associates in safety, machine operation, sanitation, quality, customer service, and maintenance.
2. Meet productivity metrics including crew size, operational efficiency, and scrap loss to optimize profitability.
3. Understand customer expectations for accuracy, quality, and timeliness; develop methods to meet or exceed these expectations.
4. Train staff and enforce company policies.
5. Communicate company philosophy, policies, and expectations clearly to all hourly personnel.
6. Contribute to establishing plant budgets, goals, and standards.
7. Develop production team members through performance management processes.
8. Monitor performance and implement action plans for improvement.
9. Create a positive work environment supporting continuous improvement and respectful treatment of all associates.
10. Responsible for Food Safety and Quality within your influence, reporting issues promptly.
