Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing production experience and 3 years of supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Production Teams: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production workers, ensuring effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Monitor Production Processes: Oversee daily production activities, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and addressing any deviations or defects promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, conducting regular safety training and audits.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions and process inefficiencies, to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide feedback and recommendations for process improvements.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and prevent production delays.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics, to coordinate production activities and resolve any cross-functional issues.

We produce high-quality and consistent products, which include yogurt (Dahi or Indian, Greek and traditional), smoothies/yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips from single serve options to food service sides. We are currently seeking a skilled Production Supervisor (1st & 2nd Shift) to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick County, Virginia!

About the Role

As a Production Supervisor at our yogurt processing facility, you will support the day-to-day operations of the production facility. This role involves supervising production staff, ensuring efficient and effective production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
