Job summary

Vermont Creamery, part of the Land O'Lakes family, seeks a motivated leader to oversee daily production operations and help build a safe, engaged, high‑performing team. The role reports to the Operations Manager and plays a key part in delivering quality products while supporting employee development and operational excellence.

You will lead, coach, and develop production team members; drive safety, quality, and food safety compliance; coordinate staffing and scheduling; monitor performance;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, food processing, agriculture, or related environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or related industry.
• Dairy industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety regulations, and manufacturing safety practices, including LOTO and hazard recognition.
• Experience with scheduling, performance management, and systems such as Workday.
