Dana is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations at our Tennessee facility. You will manage production teams, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or supervisory roles.
  • Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and safety policies.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage production team including scheduling, training, coaching, performance management.
  • Monitor production efficiency, scrap rates, downtime, and labor utilization.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Investigate and resolve production, quality, and equipment-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Materials, and Human Resources departments to support manufacturing objectives.
  • Conduct daily production meetings and communicate KPIs to team members.
  • Implement and support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, work instructions, and SOPs.
  • Oversee inventory control and material usage within the production area.
  • Participate in audits and corrective action activities.
  • Support new product launches and process improvements.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive team environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet established production schedules and customer requirements.

Education and Qualifications
