The Supervisor, Manufacturing (2nd Shift) will oversee manufacturing operations, including planning, coordination, and control of processes and resources. They will lead a production or logistics staff to ensure high quality, low cost, and on-time delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all manufacturing operations during the shift.
• Scheduling personnel for overtime as needed.
• Completing daily shift reports and monitoring production goals.
• Maintaining employee records and managing performance objectives.
• Ensuring staff training and development, mentoring, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Managing equipment efficiency, throughput, and customer fulfillment.
• Executing employee safety programs and supporting communication and training.
• Utilizing the management operating system (QMS) in process execution.
• Ensuring products meet quality standards and signing off on Quality Control Sheets.
• Recruiting and training personnel to meet staffing plans.
• Handling materials with forklifts and managing inventory and ERP transactions.
• Conducting audits to support safety, quality, and inventory accuracy programs.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Quality Control Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication skills.
• Team building, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, support change, and pay attention to detail.
• Cost control, coaching, and project management skills.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a leadership role within manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems and quality or EHS audits.
• Knowledge of machine design and utilization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies.
• Forklift license and SAP MM-PP knowledge.
