Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift

Location: Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE – one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e‑beam technology with around 600 employees.

What You Will Be Doing

• Directly supervise the daily activities of operators and production‑specific employees in a precision electronic component manufacturing operation.
• Ensure that the process of all parts meets standards.
• Lead selection, training, discipline, and ongoing performance monitoring of individual operators to maintain the highest levels of quality and production.
• Plan and schedule workload to ensure smooth operations and timely production of orders in the sequence assigned by the production scheduling department.
• Expedite finished orders and facilitate receipt of required materials whenever necessary to meet production schedules.
• Provide operator training and monitor work performance by leveraging deep understanding of all assigned operations.

What You Will Bring Along

• Two years’ experience in a manufacturing operation supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• One to two years’ experience supervising employees.
• Eligibility as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) in accordance with 22 C.F.R. § 120.15; required for access to information subject to ITAR/EAR.
