The Production Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of production, quality, efficiency, employee performance, safety, and housekeeping within a manufacturing department or departments.

• Ensure effective employee relations and provide mentorship and development opportunities.
• Maintain schedule alignment; ensure department employees are present at the start of each shift and in correct work areas.
• Balance quality, efficiency, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results; continuously seek improvements in all areas.
• Supervise departmental performance metrics, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the operations manager.
• Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Facilitate cross-training among team members.
• Spend approximately 80% of shift on the production floor; demonstrate leadership and achieve results through others.
• Plan over a 30-day horizon and develop action plans to meet objectives.
• Handle supervision duties, including hiring, retention, performance reviews, and subject matter expertise.
• Supervise attendance records in E-time and manage inventory and production data in SAP.

What will help you thrive in this role?

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
