Job summary

Nammo Perry in Florida is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee safety, quality and production across assigned product lines. The role requires leading and training operators, conducting daily audits, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Relocation assistance may be provided, with a 401(k) match, comprehensive medical options, HSA contributions, generous PTO and nine paid holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as the senior Safety, Quality and Production representative for assigned product lines.
• Ensure high standards of safety are developed, met and maintained and conduct regular safety meetings.
• Oversee and train all operators on assigned product lines to safety, quality and production requirements; conduct daily audits.
• Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results on shift production summaries.
• Attend and support Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; respond to questions and requests.
• Conduct employee evaluations and establish accountabilities and goals as required.
• Engage and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of production workers.
• Maintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
• Assist maintenance and Engineering to ensure machinery and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production and safety.
• Assure start up/shutdown protocols in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
• Foster Lean Operating Principles and 5S on the production floor; eliminate wasteful practices.
• Recommend promotions/demotions terminations transfers as required per policy.
• Comply with proper management of hazardous waste including packaging, labeling and storage.
• Maintain good employee relations and adherence to Affi.
• Other duties as assigned.

Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.

The Production Supervisor will supervise activities of assigned department(s) with respect to safety, quality, and cost while meeting production schedules, volume, and cleanliness.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6AM - 4:30PM

What You’ll Do: Precision in Action

• Will foster “Lean Operating Principles” and 5S on the production floor. Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
• Will recommend the promotion, demotion, termination, transferring and disciplinary action of production employees as required in a fair and consistent manner per policy.
• Will comply with proper management of hazardous waste including packaging, labeling, segregation, and temporary storage.
• Will maintain good employee relations and adherence to Affi

Our Woking Conditions and Requirements

• Must be able to submit to and pass a drug test and background screening pursuant to Company policy (includes random testing throughout employment).
