Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Williamsburg is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Production role to plan, direct, and monitor production activities across various processes.

The position involves coordinating with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales to develop schedules and allocate resources. The role emphasizes planning, prioritizing production line maintenance, and minimizing downtime while meeting quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience directing, planning, and monitoring production to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Ability to liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, and Sales for production scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervises support roles with responsibility for performance reviews and training.
• Sets day-to-day objectives, organizes workflow, and guides the team to achieve goals.
• Leverages prior experience to solve issues within existing guidelines and suggests policy improvements.
• Works closely with the specialization manager and communicates with management and leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including:

Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume / cost / wastage targets, and quality standards

Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources

Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance / downtime to minimize disruptions

Responsibilities

Supervises support roles with responsibility for performance review/management and training Sets day-to-day objectives, organizes workflow, provides guidance, and supports achievement of goals for team Leverages prior experience to solve issues using latitude of existing guidelines, also recommending changes within specialization policies/procedures Works closely with specialization manager Communicates regularly with management and infrequently with executive leadership Other duties as assigned
