Job Title:Production Supervisor

FLSA Status:Non-Exempt - Temp to Hire - Contract

Reports to: Vice President of Operations

Salary range :$ 73,500 - $ 115,200

Position Overview:

Under limited supervision the Production Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the day-to-day production activities. The individual will lead and supervise a team of production workers by providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team performs their duties effectively.

This is a temporary-to-hire position that will initially be employed through KULR’s staffing agency partner, with the opportunity for direct employment with KULR based on performance, business needs, and other applicable factors.

Functions:

  • Supervises the daily activities of a production area to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved.
  • Coordinates work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity.
  • Monitors production activity, identifies process problems, troubleshoots causes and develops solutions.
  • Suggests improvements to improve efficiencies or safety. Delivers or coordinates staff training and on-boards new staff.
  • Ensures all safety policies and processes are followed.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will supervise multiple staff.

Supervisor duties to include:

  • Screens applications, interviews candidates, and recommends individuals for hiring.
  • Trains and assigns work to new and continuing employees.
  • Delegates tasks and provides effective direction to team members to produce substantial business results.
  • Independently conducts frequent performance feedback weekly, quarterly and annually, to include annual performance evaluations.
  • Makes recommendations for salary increases, merit increases and reclassifications.
  • In conjunction with HR, determines corrective action as needed for direct reports.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience scheduling production activities and personnel required.
  • Science, technology or math background preferred (for Sales/Ops as needed)
