Oxbo in Town of Bergen, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead assembly operations across multiple shifts, driving lean initiatives and meeting quality, safety, efficiency, environmental, and cost objectives. You will work with Leads and shop staff to implement standardized work and continuous improvement.
The role emphasizes coaching, training, and performance management, with strong emphasis on teamwork, planning, and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsible for management, direction and execution of assembly activities in a multiple-shift manufacturing facility. This position will have responsibility for driving lean initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation. Duties to include: managing the production schedule and meeting quality, efficiency, safety, environmental, and cost expectations by performing the following duties personally or in conjunction with supervisors of other areas and subordinate team leads.
Supervises Leads and Employees throughout the Assembly department and coordinates needs with supporting departments of Fabrication, Welding, Paint, Materials and Purchasing. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Associate degree in business, engineering, or related field plus three years of manufacturing supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with/ability to use of Microsoft Office Suite, Office 365, QAD (or other ERP systems). Experience with Solidworks or Creo a plus. Will need to learn/be able to use HQMS and timekeeping software.
