Paycom - ATS in Sebring, FL is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor with 3–5 years of leadership in plastics manufacturing to drive safety, quality and productivity.

You will lead a 10–25 member shift, monitor equipment, coordinate with maintenance, and ensure production goals are met while optimizing labor and material use. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong understanding of material handling, tooling changeovers and production flow.
  • Hands-on knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, drives and industrial controls.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule rosters to meet production requirements and cover vacations.
  • Check and approve employee hours and vacations.
  • Supervise daily blow molding operations and ensure schedules and quality.
  • Lead and develop a team of operators, material handlers and support staff (10–25 per shift).
  • Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Enforce safety procedures; conduct safety audits and investigations.
  • Support quality control processes and continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean).
  • Manage labor and material usage to control costs and reduce waste.
  • Maintain accurate production records, shift reports and logs.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality and Engineering to meet plant objectives.
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.

Job PurposeWe are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor with 3–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferably plastics / molding). This role is responsible for leading production teams to meet daily goals in safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. The successful candidate will have a solid background leading a team of technicians, forklift / material handlers, and Packers / palletizers to work together to meet Key Performance Indicators. Team building will be essential. Consistent and clear communication of policies, goals, and performance will be essential.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan / Schedule roster to meet production requirements for planned vacations and absence.Check and approve employee hours and vacationsSupervise daily blow molding operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.Lead, coach, and develop a team of machine operators, material handlers, and support staff (10–25 employees per shift).Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.Enforce safety procedures and company policies; conduct safety audits and participate in incident investigations.Ensure compliance with quality control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean manufacturing, etc.).Manage labor and material usage to control costs and reduce waste.Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and operational logs.Collaborate with other departments such as Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to support plant-wide objectives.Support onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of production staff.Qualifications3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required.High School Diploma or GED requiredStrong understanding of material handling and flow, tooling / job changeoverHand on Knowledge / Fundamentals of Hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, industrial controls.Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Knowledge of safety regulations, lean manufacturing principles, and quality systems.Soft Skills for team management (Communication, Decision Making, Conflict Resolve, Motivational, Employee Corrective Actions)
