This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of production operations, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.**Key Responsibilities:*** Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure they are running smoothly, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards and production schedules.* Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to develop and implement process enhancements.* Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen eye for quality control, ensuring that products meet or exceed quality standards at all stages of production. Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and deviations.* Resource Management: Effectively allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to achieve production targets. Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely availability of necessary inputs.* Safety Compliance: Uphold a strong commitment to workplace safety. Enforce safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a safety-conscious culture among the production team.* Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including production output, downtime, maintenance logs, and any incidents. Generate relevant reports for management review.* Training and Development: Identify training needs within the production team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Mentor and develop team members to promote career growth.* Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
