Job description

We have an opening for a Production Supervisor on an off-shift; Weekend PM shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:30 pm - 6:30 am) at our Mequon, WI location.

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor leads employees to safely produce our customer’s product to the appropriate quality standard, in alignment with customer expectations and KTP’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include improving production efficiencies, waste control, human resources, safety, and quality concerns or issues.

Essential Functions

1. Maintain and promote safety in all aspects of the facility during your shift.
2. Uphold all quality procedures and programs related to shift operations.
3. Maximize productivity and efficiency.
4. Organize the workforce and set staffing levels appropriately without compromising safety, quality, or productivity.
5. Accurately manage and report timekeeping, production, scrap/yields, and other documentation.
6. Communicate effectively with subordinates, peers, senior leadership, and other departments and plants.
7. Promote teamwork through collaboration and cooperation on projects with other plants and departments to meet objectives.
8. Maintain strong work ethics and adhere to all KTP policies and procedures.
9. Motivate team members by encouragement and acting as a positive role model.
10. Mentor, train, coach, and develop staff to prepare them for increased responsibilities as KTP grows.
11. Assist with job duties across the shift to ensure safety, efficiency, and operational completeness.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in supervision or operations management preferred.
• 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
