Molex is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Lincoln, Nebraska stamping operation. This role leads a team, drives safety, quality, and productivity, and partners with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
The supervisor will coach employees, conduct daily huddles, and ensure staffing and resources meet business needs. Emphasis on development, accountability, and adherence to safety standards across shifts.
Molex is seeking a Production Supervisor to provide leadership and support for our Stamping operation at our Lincoln, Nebraska facility. In this role, you will be responsible for developing employees, driving accountability, supporting daily operations, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a strong people leader who can build trust, develop talent, and help teams achieve results.
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday (3pm-11pm)Lead, coach, and develop a team of production employees while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning
Drive daily operational performance by monitoring key metrics related to safety, quality, productivity, and delivery
Conduct daily team huddles and communicate expectations, priorities, and performance goals
Partner with employees to identify opportunities for improvement and remove barriers to success
Support employee development through coaching, training, performance feedback, and recognition
Promote and reinforce safe work practices while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and Operations to resolve issues and improve performance
Utilize structured problem-solving methods to address production challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure staffing levels, work assignments, and resources are aligned with business needs
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to production performance, employee development, and operational activities
Support Molex's Quality and Environmental Management Systems through adherence to established policies and procedures
Experience leading, supervising, coaching, or developing employees
Experience driving accountability, managing performance, and leading teams toward operational goals.
Experience communicating and collaborating with employees, customers, suppliers, or cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve business objectives
Experience prioritizing multiple responsibilities, adapting to changing priorities, and making decisions in a fast-paced work environment
Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or production environment
Experience managing daily operations through KPIs, visual management systems, and performance metrics
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen
Experience supporting employee training, onboarding, and development initiatives
Experience leading teams of 15+ employees
Knowledge of safety, quality, and operational excellence principles
