Winland Foods, Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a high‑performing manufacturing operation at our Lee's Summit, MO facility.
You will direct daily production, coach associates, and drive safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement on the night shift (6 pm–6:30 am; 2‑2‑3 schedule). The role requires SAP experience, strong data interpretation, and the ability to develop reports and training materials while ensuring GMP/5S compliance.
Join our team as a Production Supervisor and play a key role in leading a high-performing manufacturing operation. In this position, you will provide daily direction and support to production associates, ensuring excellence in safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance. You'll work closely with frontline teams to create a positive, engaged work environment while driving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance. As a leader on the production floor, you will coach and develop associates, foster a culture of accountability and ownership, and help teams identify and solve challenges using proven problem-solving and continuous improvement methods. From supporting training and standard operating procedures to implementing sustainable solutions that improve processes, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. Schedule: Night Shift / 6 pm to 6:30 am / 2-2-3 schedule
Work Location: 200 NW Victoria Dr, Lee's Summit, MO 64086
Work is performed in various locations inside and outside the Plant. Work involves exposure to temperature extremes, high noise levels, wetness, heights, dust, moving equipment, vibrations, and vapors. Equipment used includes various pumps, valves, piping, hose, tanks, machinery, computers and associated software, control panel, forklifts, hand tools, copy machine, label makers and any equipment identified in the role. Personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, slip resistant/safety shoes and hearing protection. Employees must comply with all safety policies and safe work procedures established by the company. Job tasks may involve: Lifting up to 55 pounds. Frequent carrying, reaching, bending, crawling, standing and repetitive motion, and working at heights. Employees will be expected to attend safety and GMP training, serve on the facility safety committee if requested and participate in hazard analysis and resolution. Travel to other sites may periodically be required.
