Our client is a global life sciences company. They are working through CPS to hire a 2nd shift Production Supervisor for their facility just east of Los Angeles. This facility has very little turnover and the position is open due to internal movement within the organization.

Job Titles

Production Supervisor, Production Manager, Operations Supervisor, Shift Lead, Manufacturing Lead, Manufacturing Supervisor, Production Shift Manager, Operations Shift Supervisor, Shift Team Lead, Production Area Manager

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Providing leadership to an operations crew of 5-10 operators on shift
  • Spearheading continuous improvement and process improvement efforts
  • Ensuring adherence to safety measures and regulatory compliance
  • Monitoring equipment and processes to ensure quality products; troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Managing attendance policies, PTO approvals, weekly time cards, and overtime
Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience; experience in food or other highly regulated industries is preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of process improvements
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • SAP experience
