Job summary

Triton Metal Products is seeking a shift supervisor to coordinate daily assignments for hourly production staff and monitor productivity across the shift. You will drive efficiency, ensure adherence to policies, and support cost-savings initiatives.

The role emphasizes feedback on operator performance, delegation, record-keeping, and ongoing training to improve metal fabrication skills and equipment care. This position is based on site and involves active participation in lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily work assignments among hourly associates.
• Monitor cycle times, scrap, efficiency, and labor utilization to ensure productivity.
• Coordinate job changeovers and ensure related tasks are completed.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures during the shift.
• Provide timely feedback on operator performance on a regular basis.
• Show sound delegation and empowerment in manufacturing and production tasks.
• Maintain production record-keeping forms and track shift efficiencies.
• Maintain good housekeeping and equipment care in the manufacturing area.
• Participate in internal problem-solving and continuous improvement activities.
• Participate in TMP cost-savings initiatives.
• Support training, education, and other learning opportunities for skill improvement in metal fabrication.
