Job summary

Hoshizaki America in Griffin, GA is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead non-exempt team members in metal fabrication. You’ll oversee daily production schedules, assign tasks, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires coordinating resources, monitoring output, and training new workers, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement. Evening shift available, 3:30PM to 1:30AM, and benefits include competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must coordinate day-to-day production staff to meet schedules, budgets, waste targets, and quality standards.
  • Monitors output volume and quality and adjusts tasks and equipment as needed.
  • Informs staff of production/material issues and coordinates with support groups to resolve delays.
  • Supports establishing and updating operational methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintains production reports reflecting schedules, performance, and methods.

Role Overview

Responsible for first-line direction of non-exempt employees involved in production, assembly, subassembly, or fabrication operations. Reviews production schedules, material, and manpower resources. Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality, and attain output requirements.

Qualifications
  • Coordinates the day-to-day activities of a team of production workers to ensure that manufacturing operations run according to established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and waste targets; and quality standards.
  • Monitors the volume and quality of output and adjusts tasks, timing, equipment set-up, or inputs so that production specifications are met, and resources are used efficiently.
  • Informs assigned employees of production and material problems and coordinates with support groups to resolve problems affecting schedules.
  • Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures.
  • Maintains a variety of reports, records, and production documentation to reflect schedules, performance, and methods.
  • Supervises staff to ensure that all production tasks are performed, and all machines and equipment are operated safely.
  • Trains new workers in the organization's operating procedures and standards.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65K – 70K. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
