Job summary

MS Metal Solutions seeks a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient daily manufacturing operations and drive team performance. You will coordinate production activities, manage priorities, ensure quality and on-time delivery, and develop employees through coaching and accountability.

You will uphold a safety-focused environment while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement, leveraging ERP systems and lean practices to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, quality requirements, and safe manufacturing practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Leadership: Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture; coach and hold employees accountable for performance and attendance; support onboarding and development.
• Production Execution: Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet schedules; monitor workflow and communicate priorities; ensure quality and delivery.

Position Summary

MS Metal Solutions is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient daily manufacturing operations and drive team performance. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, managing priorities, ensuring quality and on-time delivery, and developing employees through clear communication, coaching, and accountability. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining a productive, safety-focused work environment while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Safety & Leadership

• Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance and attendance.
• Support onboarding, training, and employee development.

Production Execution

• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to meet production schedules.
• Monitor workflow, resolve issues, and communicate priorities across departments.
• Ensure customer requirements for quality and delivery are met.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure compliance with work instructions, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Track production performance and implement improvements to safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production and ERP system records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of production scheduling, quality requirements, and safe manufacturing practices.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, powder coating, or assembly.
• Lean manufacturing experience (5S, standard work, continuous improvement).
• Epicor experience
• Proven ability to use metrics to improve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
