Job summary

United Future, a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing partner, is seeking Off-Shift Production Supervisors for Elizabethtown, KY. The role leads multiple production lines on 2nd and 3rd shifts, driving safety, quality, and productivity in a high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate has proven supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to coach teams while meeting strict scheduling and KPI targets. Union experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous production supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations across multiple lines during second or third shift.

• Monitor production schedules, staffing levels, and equipment performance to meet customer demands.
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
• Work closely with maintenance, quality, and engineering departments to address production challenges.
• Monitor production metrics, including efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall equipment performance.
• Manage employee attendance, performance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate production updates, operational concerns, and shift performance to plant leadership.

Additional Compensation: Eligible for straight-time pay for hours worked over 45 per week

Horan Hiring Solutions is seeking experienced Off-Shift Production Supervisors for a well-established Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

This facility specializes in heavy metal stamping and the production of structural components and frames for Ford trucks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive manufacturing, experience overseeing multiple production lines, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
