Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure production goals, schedules, and deadlines are met.
• Provide direction and support to production team members, leads, and other assigned personnel to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
• Assist with training new team members and provide ongoing guidance regarding work instructions, production methods, quality expectations, and work standards.
• Monitor production processes and verify that products meet established quality requirements, specifications, and inspection criteria.
• Ensure team members follow current work instructions, approved procedures, tooling requirements, and manufacturing process specifications.
• Assist with identifying and resolving routine production issues, process concerns, and equipment problems; coordinate with technical support as needed.
• Monitor the condition and proper use of production equipment and tooling; assist with minor troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ensure production records, inspection documentation, and other required departmental records are completed accurately and maintained.
• Promote safe work practices, proper equipment use, and an organized manufacturing environment; address concerns and report hazards.
• Communicate production priorities, issues, and progress to management and coordinate with other departments as needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, quality, and efficient use of production resources.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production Operations: Oversee daily manufacturing activities to ensure production goals, schedules, and deadlines are met.
• Team Leadership: Provide direction and support to production team members, leads, and other assigned personnel to maintain an organized and efficient workflow.

• Safety and Organization: Promote safe work practices, proper equipment use, and an organized manufacturing environment. Address concerns and report hazards in accordance with company procedures.
• Communication and Coordination: Communicate production priorities, issues, and progress to management and coordinate with other departments as needed to support manufacturing operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve workflow, productivity, quality, and the efficient use of production resources.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Previous supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written work instructions, procedures, specifications, and production requirements.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and support daily production goals.
• Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining professional integrity.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and management in a production environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting, pushing, and pulling carts or products as required by the job.
