Smucker is seeking a Production Supervisor for our Arkadelphia, AR facility. This on-site role focuses on maximizing production efficiency while maintaining product quality and GMP compliance.
The supervisor will lead a shift on a 12-hour PM schedule, coaching a team, investigating issues, and driving continuous improvement. Requirements include a high school diploma and 1+ year of manufacturing leadership experience; proficiency with Excel, Word, and SAP is expected.
Your Opportunity as a Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor is responsible for efficiency of production while preserving the integrity and quality of products. The Supervisor maintains a safe and productive working environment while coaching and supervising their team members. The majority of the supervisors time will be spent on the production floor identifying improvement opportunities, monitoring safety, production, quality, maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices and corporate standards.
Location: 1 Hostess Way, Arkadelphia, AR 71923 (Hostess Manufacturing Plant)
Work Arrangements: 100% on-site. 12hr-PM shift (2-2-3 schedule). Flexibility required. Willingness to work off shift (including nights, weekends, and/or holidays) and flow to the work as needed
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be high.
Regularly required to talk and hear.

Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
May push and pull heavy objects.
