Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lewiston, ME, seeks a production supervisor to plan, manage and direct the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors, ensuring cost effective, quality production in line with safety and quality standards.

The role requires five+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, an associate or higher degree, and completion of formal management skills training. You will support shift operations, promote safety, and help meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plans, manages and directs the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors.
• Ensures cost effective, quality production of products.
• Monitors cripples and losses due to production.
• Ensures safe working environment for employees/contractors.
• Participates in accident investigation process.
• Performs shift supervisors duties when necessary.
• Promotes positive employee relations.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
• Fulfillment of work schedules, attendance policies and other operating rules.

Bringing Home the Dough

Plans, manages and directs the work of Production and other manufacturing supervisors. Ensures cost effective, quality production of products according to standards. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Salary Range- $88k-$105k/year
