Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Production Supervisor to plan, manage and direct the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors, ensuring cost effective, quality production that meets safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has five or more years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience, an associate degree or higher, and completion of formal management skills training; candidates will foster strong employee relations and uphold company policies

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, manages and directs the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors.
• Ensures cost effective, quality production of products.
• Monitors cripples and losses due to production.
• Ensures safe working environment for employees/contractors.
• Participates in accident investigation process.
• Performs shift supervisor duties when necessary.
• Promotes positive employee relations.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.

Bringing Home the Dough

Plans, manages and directs the work of Production and other manufacturing supervisors. Ensures cost effective, quality production of products according to standards. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

Salary Range- 90,000
