Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead production and other manufacturing supervisors at our Knoxville location. Responsibilities include planning, directing teams, ensuring quality and cost-effective output.

The role supports safety, policy compliance and cross‑department collaboration. Required: associate degree or higher and 5+ years of manufacturing experience, plus formal management skills training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience.
• Completion of formal management skills training program.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, manages and directs the work of production and other manufacturing supervisors.
• Ensures cost effective, quality production of products.
• Monitors cripples and loses due to production.
• Ensures safe working environment for employees/contractors.
• Participates in accident investigation process.
• Performs shift supervisors duties when necessary.
• Promotes positive employee relations.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
• Performance of other duties deemed integral to the job, including attendance and operating rules.

Bringing Home the Dough

Plans, manages and directs the work of Production and other manufacturing supervisors. Ensures cost effective, quality production of products according to standards. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

• Five or more years of progressively responsible manufacturing experience.

Salary Range- 85,000.00 - 90,000.00
