Job summary

Westlake Chemical is hiring a Production Superintendent to lead daily manufacturing operations in a high‑volume extrusion environment. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on safety, performance, and employee engagement across multiple shifts.

You will own production execution, develop supervisors and teams, and partner with Operations leadership to solve problems, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement and accountability in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong people leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop supervisors and production teams across multiple shifts.
• Own daily production execution to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and adjust schedules to meet changing demands.
• Drive accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the department.
• Analyze production data, identify gaps, and lead process improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and HR to support staffing, training, and performance.
