Associated Bag, a national supplier of packaging and shipping products in Milwaukee, seeks a Production Specialist to develop catalog pagination, page layouts, and related elements for printing and online catalogs. You will coordinate changes to the website and produce PDFs for multiple catalogs.

You will also craft promotional materials, flyers, and sell sheets, while supporting sales through pre-press activities and final proofs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree with concentration in design, layout, and desktop publishing, 3-5 years experience in digital layout and production of catalogs, promotional publications, or space advertising, and 1 year experience in website coordination; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop catalog pagination, page layouts, and related page elements such as charts, diagrams, and blurbs. Prepare promotional materials for printing and update price charts.
• Coordinate and expedite changes to the company website including charts, copy, photos, diagrams, and information beyond catalog content.
• Create and update PDFs of catalog pages for online catalog and customer-specific catalogs. Develop concepts, layouts, and page designs for the company website; coordinate updates.
• Develop flyers, sample pack inserts, direct mail pieces, order stuffers, and sell sheets to support Sales and revenue generation.
• Participate in pre-press page proofing and attend press checks for all printed promotional material.

Associated Bag is looking for a Production Specialist to developcatalog pagination, including page layouts, along with related page elements such as charts, diagrams, and blurbs. Prepares these and other promotional materials for printing. Coordinates and expedites changes to the Company website including charts, copy, photos, diagrams, and information beyond that appearing in the catalog.
DUTIES:
Under the direction of the Marketing & Research Manager and Creative Supervisor, develops concepts, layouts, page designs, and pagination for Company catalogs. Follows established design standards to layout catalog pages, including importing photos and graphics, importing and formatting text, laying out photos, copy, price charts, and updating price chart contents. Ensures that catalog files and other promotional publications are properly assembled, have all needed fonts and graphics, and are ready for pre-press and printing.
Creates and updates PDFs of catalog pages both during and after catalog production for the online catalog and for the customer specific, medical and reseller catalogs.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree with concentration in design, layout, and desktop publishing, 3-5 years experience in digital layout and production of catalogs, promotional publications, or space advertising, and 1 year experience in website coordination; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver software programs, on Macintosh platform. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Possess a great attention to detail and proficiency in proofreading and grammar.
