Job summary

ElleVet Sciences in South Portland, ME seeks a production associate to build knowledge of our animal health products and assemble and manufacture product lines. You will perform routine work across production areas with limited supervision while upholding quality using SOPs and training.

What You Will Do

• Build knowledge of products to assemble and manufacture various product lines
• Performs routine work in all production areas with limited supervision

Who We Are Seeking

• Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude by diagnosing and repairing complex machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Ability and desire to work as a hands-on team member
• Strong priority and time management skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines when required
• Familiarity with or ability to train on equipment operation
• Moderate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with rapidly changing priorities
• Self-motivating and self-managing with a high degree of creativity and analytical ability
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of experience and education

Ability to meet physical requirements of production facility; standing for 2+ hours, extended reach, lifting requirements up to 50lbs, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend.
