Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock in Durham, NC is seeking a Production Specialist to create and assemble sign and graphic products in a fast-paced, creative environment.

You will cut graphics, apply to substrates, and may perform in-field installations; compensation starts at $14.00–$17.00 per hour with 90-day review, commission on completed jobs without recuts, and a quarterly team bonus when quotas are met. Training provided.

Job description

Production Specialists work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphic products for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment.

Position requirements include cutting printed graphics using a variety of wall cutters, saws, and Exacto blades, as well as applying the product to substrates. The Production Specialist may be required to work in the field performing installations to vehicles, and building interiors and exteriors using a ladder or mechanical lift system. Careful attention to detail utilizing work orders that outline specifics for each custom order is paramount.

With regards to compensation, we offer a starting salary and relook at it every 6 months for the first 2 years as typically work output progresses rapidly in the beginning. At the 90 day mark (end of probation) we also discuss job performance. The Production Specialist also receives commission on jobs closed for the month where no recuts or redos have to be done. Additionally, if the sales quotas are met for the quarter, the entire staff receives a 10% bonus on their base salary for that quarter's wages. We bonus the entire staff as we are a team and it takes the entire team working together to produce closed sales.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
