Job summary

Marathon Staffing is seeking a Sorter in York County, SC for an on-the-job training program at a recycling facility. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM, with overtime available on Saturdays, and pays $14.00 per hour.

New hires will be trained by experienced supervisors, with emphasis on production sorting, bin handling, and safe waste management. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, weekly pay via direct deposit, and an employee discount program.

• Be willing to be trained on sorting and the operation.
• Be able to stand and work for 8 hours.

Sorter - On the Job Training - HIRING IMMEDIATELY!!!

We are now seeking Sorters in York County, SC to help out at the recycling plant. New employees will be trained by knowledgeable supervisors on various operational tasks. Shift is from 7 AM -4PM Monday- Friday

On the job training and benefits:

• On the job training provided!


• Clean, safe work environment with a team focused on production and improvement.


• Pay is $14.00 per hour, Monday through Friday (overtime offered on Saturday).

Qualified Candidates will:

• Be willing to be trained on sorting and the operation

Daily operations include, but are not limited to:

• Production sorting


• Fill and empty bins as needed.


• Litter collection and disposal


• Solid waste collection and disposal


• Collection, storage, sorting and transport of recyclable materials

Dress Code:

• Long pants (jeans or cargo/utility pants)


• Collar shirts or T-shirts with no offensive wording


• Safety toe work boots or regular tennis shoes


• NO overly long nails or hanging jewelry


• NO shorts

***ALL NECESSARY PPE EQUIPMENT AND MASKS FOR SAFETY WILL BE PROVIDED TO EACH TEAM MEMBER
