Job summary

Vestis is seeking a warehouse associate for our Santa Ana facility. The role involves handling merchandise in a laundry environment, ensuring accurate processing and safe work practices.

The position requires basic math, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow instructions while working both independently and as part of a team. Shift is Mon-Fri from 4am to 12:30pm with potential overtime and weekend work as needed.

Shift Hours: M-F 4am-12:30pm

Overview

Performs work as part of a team in an industrial laundry facility. Responsible for the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise into and/or out of the laundry facility.

Responsibilities / Essential Functions

• Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling.
• Identifies counts, and totals ruin or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Working Environment / Safety Requirements

• Work is performed in a warehouse setting and regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, extreme heat and cold conditions as well as dust and noise.
• Work is based on a shift schedule, and may include weekends.
• Overtime required as needed.

Compensation

: The hourly rate that Vestis expects to pay for this position range is $18.75 depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

Education

High school degree or equivalent preferred.
