Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Software Engineer to develop product-agnostic software for production teams. You will work with software and production teams to automate, test, and improve efficiency and quality. This role requires hands-on development and collaboration to integrate cutting-edge tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Excellent problem-solving/critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Drove strategic design of scalable system architecture.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

About The Job

As a Production Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing product-agnostic software solutions for our production teams. You'll work cross-functionally with production and software teams to enhance automation and build efficiencies. Your role will involve hands-on software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in Python
• Excellent problem-solving/critical thinking skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Demonstrated accountability and ownership, team-player, self-motivated
• Drove strategic design of scalable system architecture
• Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field
• Experience in hardware testing and automated test systems
• Strong understanding of hardware-software integration
• Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring
• Prior work in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience with: SQL/databases, C/C++, javascript, nix

US Salary Range

$166,000—$220,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
