Job summary

Southern Industries Home Improvements Llc is seeking an experienced Service Tech/handyman to drive the truck, perform measurements, and assist with installations. The role includes on-site servicing, occasional warehouse work, and a path to advancement within the Southern Southeast footprint.

The ideal candidate will have carpentry or construction experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to read a tape measure accurately.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who is not afraid to be assertive, take initiative and work independently.
• Superior attention to detail.
• Ability to talk to people.
• Requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with some evenings and occasional Saturdays.
• Carpentry, trim carpentry, construction, or in-home renovation experience a must.
• Ability to use power tools (drill, jigsaw, etc.).
• Ability to read a tape measure and take accurate measurements.
• Computer skills and basic knowledge of office equipment.
• Must be able to lift and/or push and/or pull up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate and professional servicing of all products.
• Assist the Production Manager.
• Maintain company vehicle, cleaning, and service scheduling.
• Assist on install jobs alone or in teams when needed.
• Help in the Warehouse with cleaning, organizing, unloading trucks, and prepping materials.
• Provide 100% customer satisfaction and solicit feedback after jobs.

We sell and service a variety of products.
