The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in manufacturing, and strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills for effective scheduling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in Logistics, Production Planning or Scheduling is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Outlook and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and with external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the flow of cars in production.
• Collaborate with departments to create schedules that optimize resources and meet customer needs.
• Build integrated processes across operations, purchasing, logistics, and suppliers.
• Drive continuous improvement in material movement and define KPIs to measure performance.
• Prepare progress and status reports on OEM and maintenance activities.
• Ensure inventory and material controls are in place and followed.
• Align with customer needs throughout the maintenance shop for TRMO cars.
• Determine car requirements and coordinate production and engineering movement.
• Create and share shop trackers with production teams.
• Provide daily updates to Plant Manager on units and revenue.
• Coordinate information with team members and external parties as needed.
• Lead technical reviews with Operations, Safety, Welding, and Quality teams.
