Job summary

OrePac Building Products in Spokane, WA is hiring for a full-time operations/administrative support role. This position supports the Shop Manager, coordinates work orders, and ensures materials and personnel are available to meet project needs.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math, and experience with Microsoft Office; BisTrack experience is a plus. Spanish may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Shop Manager to ensure available personnel and assets.
  • Review printed work orders for accuracy and coordinate with sales for changes.
  • Organize and distribute work orders to the correct personnel.
  • Assist in door/pre-finish shops as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a Full-Time position. Normal days of work are Mondays through Fridays; shift availability may vary. Hours may need to be extended or adjusted at any time, with or without notice, to meet the needs of the organization.

Responsibilites include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Works with Shop Manager to ensure that appropriate personnel and assets are available
  • Reviews printed workorders from the BisTrack to ensure accuracy and works with sales to make appropriate changes as needed
  • Organize and distribute work orders to correct personnel
  • Assist in door/or pre-finish shops as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED), experience of at least one-year (preferred) or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • The ability to communicate clearly, effectively present information in one on one or small group situations. Ability to communicate in Spanish may be a requirement depending upon location.
  • Ability to understand basic math skills including fractions, decimals. Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Type by touch, 30 words per minute (WPM).
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
