Job summary

HEICO in Georgia is seeking a Production Scheduler to develop, coordinate, and implement production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize resources. The role involves planning master schedules, coordinating new orders, delivery schedules, and shipments, and ensuring finished products are shipped on time.

Under limited supervision, you will work with Production Control to allocate inventory, track customer delivery dates, and maintain effective departmental workflows.

Qualifications

• Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in aerospace or defense.
• Experience with production scheduling and inventory control systems.
• Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
• Plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows.
• Coordinate new customer orders, existing delivery schedules, and finished product shipments.
• Maintain customer delivery dates in line with requirements and the master production schedule.
• Allocate inventory to customer shipments and coordinate special requirements and inspections.
• Provide monthly ship-from-stock information to the Production Control Manager.
• Perform filing and other clerical duties.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

As a Production Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production processes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, coordinate, and implement production schedules that meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. The Production Scheduler, under limited supervision, performs routine tasks in coordinating newcustomer orders, existing customer delivery schedules, and finished product shipments. Plans and prepares manufacturing production schedulesand departmental workflows. Must be U.S Persons.

Required Experience

• A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and
  work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry
• Experience with production scheduling and inventory control systems
• Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
