Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) seeks a production scheduler for aircraft programs in Lake Charles, LA. The role focuses on planning, coordinating resources, and maintaining schedules across multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery.

You will build baselines for modification and MRO work, prepare CDRL reports, and brief risks and assumptions during IRR, publishing the IMS to SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and issue production schedules; coordinate labor and material across departments.
• Build baseline aircraft modification or MRO schedules to meet contract deadlines per PWS/DCMA standards.
• Develop profiles to meet schedule requirements with Operations.
• Prepare CDRL reports per DID & DCMA standards within time constraints.
• Advise management on status, material availability, risks, and constraints to meet timelines.
• Advise leadership on schedule impacts from new work discoveries and scope additions.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Operations Center to schedule ad hoc requirements.
• Brief IRR schedule and publish IMS in SharePoint to support data pulls.
• Use SSI Tools with MS Project to define the critical path.

Job description

• Plans, prepares, issues production schedules and coordinates resource requirements (Labor and Material) across departments to ensure a controlled flow of production.
• Builds/Baselines Aircraft Modification or Maintenance/Repair/Overhaul (MRO) schedule to meet contract time constraints in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) applicable standards (e.g., DCMA 14-point test, etc.).
• Develops profiles to meet schedule requirements working with Operations.
• Prepares Contractor Deliverable Requirements List (CDRL) reports to Data Item Description (DID) & Defense Contractor Management Activity (DCMA) standards within PWS and/or leadership specified time constraints. Advises management of status of work in progress, material availability, potential production constraints, and risk associated with constraints to meet contract delivery timelines.
• Advises leadership on schedule impacts for new work discoveries & support customer requested additions to scope of work.
• Works w/Maintenance Operations Center (MOC) to schedule ad hoc requirements
• Briefs schedule build with associated assumptions, risks/constraints during Induction Readiness Review (IRR). Publishes MS Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to Sharepoint to support department data pulls.
• Uses Structured Solutions Incorporated (SSI) Tools in conjunction with MS Project to define Critical Path.
