Job summary

Plastic Products Co., Inc. is seeking a Production Scheduler in Greenfield, TN to manage injection molding production schedules, monitor material requirements, and ensure timely production across all shifts.

The ideal candidate will have strong math skills, solid communication abilities, and experience with IQMS ERP systems, including Real Time modules. This role is in-person at the Greenfield facility and requires precise coordination with several departments.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical aptitude and solid communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and computer skills.
• Experience using IQMS or similar ERP software (Real Time module preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule production in IQMS for all 3 shifts based on shipments and on-hand inventory.
• Plan material requirements by maintaining min/max inventory per customer.
• Write purchase requests for materials (packaging, resins, inserts).
• Coordinate delivery schedules, ship dates, and quantities for best run presses.
• Update schedules to meet deadlines and adapt to changes throughout the day.
• Coordinate and communicate schedules with Supervisors, Plant Manager, and Molding Managers.
• Follow Company Quality Policy and safety rules for all employees.
• At least 1 year experience using IQMS, especially Real Time.
• Communicate effectively with production staff and external customers.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULER

Salary Exempt, Full-Time

In-person at Greenfield, TN location

Job Description: This individual will be responsible for the scheduling of our injection molding production including all testing, weekend and daily work-load requirements. This individual will also be responsible for the monitoring of all material requirements.

A strong mathematical aptitude, good written and verbal communication and organizational skills as well as knowledge of computers is required.

Job Duties:

• Schedule production in IQMS for all 3 shifts; compiles manufacturing schedules based on timing of shipments and on-hand inventory
• Planning material requirement by maintaining min/max levels of inventory per customer requirement
• Researching Customer Service inquiries and report to customer. Write purchase requests for materials (packaging, resins, inserts, etc.)
• Coordinate delivery schedule, ship dates, and quantities; scheduling products based on "best run" presses
• Update schedules accordingly to meet deadlines; ability to make and adapt to changes throughout the day
• Coordinate and communicate schedules with Supervisors, Plant Manager, and Molding Managers
• Understand company Quality Policy and general safety rules for all employees
• Other duties as assigned
• At least 1 year experience using IQMS, especially with Real Time
• Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with all levels of production staff and external customers
