Standard Process Inc. in Palmyra, WI, is hiring a Sanitor – 3rd shift to support our manufacturing team. Pay is $20.98–$23.08 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium for a four‑day workweek (Mon–Thu, 8:00 pm–6:30 am).

You will clean and sanitize plant equipment, production areas, and related surfaces, operate cleaning systems, and ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals while following GMP and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in food processing or industrial sanitation is preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP and basic sanitation methods.
• Ability to perform basic math for chemical dilution calculations.

Responsibilities

• Sanitation and cleaning of production areas, equipment, and surfaces.
• Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained.
• Handle chemicals safely and ensure proper labeling and storage.
• Follow MSS tasks and SOPs for sanitation.
• Assist in developing sanitation SOPs and monitor sanitation status.

We’re currently seeking a Sanitor – 3rd Shift to join our Manufacturing team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, walls, floors, and tables within our production departments. The Sanitor works independently near heavy machinery, in tight and high spaces, and with strong cleaning chemicals. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who values quality, safety, and attention to detail—and wants to be part of a team that supports health and wellness from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Sanitation & Cleaning Supports production by cleaning ancillary equipment such as tote, barrels, buckets and trays
• Clean and sanitize plant equipment, production areas, and surfaces in a thorough and safe manner
• Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified
• Use foamer, floor scrubbers, and basic hand tools for sanitation
• Ensure chemicals are properly labeled, used, and stored according to safety guidelines
• Procedures & Standards Compliance Complete all Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) tasks according to SOPs
• Follow company procedures for chemical supplies and power equipment use
• Assist in developing and improving sanitation standard operating procedures
• Continuously monitor the sanitation status of production areas and equipment
• Notify management of any potential hazards
• Cross-Functional Support Operate machinery as needed to support production
• Perform cross-functional tasks based on availability of resources
• Execute duties in alignment with company Quality and Safety standards

What You Bring

• Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience 0–1 years of experience required
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience in a food processing environment preferred
• Experience in industrial sanitation operations preferred
• Specialized Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of basic sanitation methods and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Familiarity with basic hand tools Ability to perform basic math, especially for chemical dilution calculations
