Job summary

Hilo Products, Inc. is seeking an Operations Sanitation Specialist/Custodian to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout production, warehouse, and common areas, supporting food safety and a hygienic environment.

The role involves cleaning restrooms, floors, restocking supplies, using cleaning tools, reporting safety hazards, and collaborating with the team to sustain a safe, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Custodial or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques, equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Great communication skills and a team-player attitude

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, common rooms, hallways, warehouses, and production areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all floor types to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
• Empty trash, restock supplies like soap, towels, and cleaning agents
• Use and manage cleaning tools and equipment
• Promptly report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors to sustain a safe and compliant work environment
