Job summary

FreshPoint is seeking a Night Production Sanitation Associate to uphold sanitation of the Produce Value Added Rooms and equipment, following the 7-Steps of sanitation.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and walls, adhering to Food, Sanitation and Safety policies, and ensuring SQF-compliant handling of produce. Must be 18+, able to work independently, and willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• One year on-the-job production sanitation experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

FreshPoint is Hiring Production Sanitation Associate (Night) work hours are 10pm - 7am

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the FreshPoint Produce Value Added Room(s) and equipment utilizing the 7-Steps of sanitation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and practice the 7-Steps of sanitation when cleaning and sanitizing different types of machinery, support equipment, and conveyors.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, and specific work areas.
• Responsible for adhering to all Food, Sanitation and Safety policies.
• Responsible for adhering to proper handling of all produce according to SQF standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facilities property by picking up trash/debris throughout the
• property and by addressing all opportunities to improve sanitation.
• Work effectively with immediate supervisor to ensure proper cleaning practices are followed.
• Report to the supervisor immediately any unfixable/unsafe issues.
• Observe and enforce all safety rules to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Understand and comply with all applicable company policies (i.e., attendance, Code of
• Business Conduct and Ethics, Associate Handbook, etc.)
• Complies with all applicable State/Federal laws, regulations, and policies (i.e., OSHA,
• HACCP, SQF, etc.).
• Adherence to work schedule.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

• One-year on-the-job production sanitation experience required.

Requirement

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must work independently with minimal supervision and have strong attention to details.
