Freshpet is seeking a Production Reconciliation Specialist to ensure manufacturing data accuracy across ERP systems. You will bridge shop floor operations with digital inventory, reconciling material consumption and ensuring orders are complete and finalized.

You will work with MES (TrakSYS), SQL, and D365, supporting a 24/7 operation and driving inventory precision and operational costing accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data integrity, production control, order management, or inventory reconciliation in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience navigating MES, SQL, and D365 workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field desired.
• Strong mathematical mindset with attention to data patterns and problem solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to resolve variances with end users.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Batch Reconciliation: audit batch records in D365 journals to verify raw material use and finished goods output.
• Order Closure: ensure manufacturing orders are fully processed, balanced, and financially closed within D365 Production Control.
• Data Auditing: identify and correct discrepancies between ERP systems before final inventory posting.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to provide traceability for consumed ingredients.
• Adaptability: adjust work schedule to support 24/7 operations.

What You Will Do

The Production Reconciliation Specialist ensures the absolute accuracy of manufacturing data within our ERP systems. This role bridges the gap between physical shop floor operations and digital inventory records. The role reconciles material consumption and ensures manufacturing orders are structurally complete and accurately finalized. This position is vital to maintaining inventory precision, accurate operational costing, and seamless supply chain workflows.

ERP systems: TrakSYS Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Sequel (SQL), and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

How You Will Make an Impact

• Batch Reconciliation: Audit batch records in D365 production journals to verify correct raw material consumption and finished goods output.


• Order Closure: Ensure all manufacturing orders are fully processed, balanced, and financially "ended" within the D365 Production Control module.


• Data Auditing: Identify, investigate, and correct discrepancies between ERP systems before final inventory posting.


• Collaboration:


• Work with the cross functional team during investigations to provide traceability records for consumed ingredients.


• Ability to adjust work schedule as needed to support the 24/7 operation.

• Process Enforcement:


• Work closely with end users to improve the accuracy and timeliness of journal postings.


• Develop, deliver, and maintain ERP training material for end users.


• Work with projects that may change the scope of our ERP systems to understand and revise training material for end users.

What You Will Bring

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data integrity, production control, order management, or inventory reconciliation within a manufacturing environment.


• ERP Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating and executing workflows within MES, SQL, and D365.


• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.


• Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical mindset with an exceptional eye for detail and data patterns.


• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively problem solve variances with end users.


• Software Competency: Proficient in Microsoft Products.
