This person in this role will be RPS’s main point of contact with Engineering and Project Controls for the project.**Exciting work you will do:**The essential duties and responsibilities of the Production Project Engineer will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:* Review contracts and terms & conditions to ensure project execution is in compliance* Utilize the RPS project management tools as required to execute projects from start to finish* Ensure project milestones are executed per the project schedule* Schedule and lead project meetings and report project production status* Communicate production issues to proper discipline for timely resolution and review with production management* Provide regular and accurate reporting of project progress and completion milestones and report to production management* Coordinate execution of project change orders* Support proactive change management process* Manage multiple projects at the same time* Provide guidance to production team members and establish an execution framework to ensure the quality, value, and timeliness of the total project execution* Monitor material requirement reports to ensure timely execution of production schedule* Represent the company at all times in a positive manner* Other duties as assigned# ## **Competencies you possess:*** Customer Focus* Results, Action Oriented* Accountability and responsibility* Teamwork and collaboration* Self-Motivated# ### **What you’ll need:*** **Work Experience:** 3 years’ experience in a production environment* **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related field or equivalent work experience* **Analytics/Computer Skills:** Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; experience with business systems and processes* **Organization Skills:** Strong organizational skills; detail oriented; ability to multi-task; ability to work with minimal supervision* **Cross-functional skills:** Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment* **Communication Skills:** Strong communication skills; strong oral and written communication skills* **Physical, Mental and Visual Skills:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
