Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is expanding its Franklin, PA operations and seeks a Process Technician to safely operate and maintain production equipment, inspect products, and support inventory and shipping activities. The role requires flexibility for shifts and occasional overtime in a high-performance manufacturing environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be prepared to participate in a basic skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform a wide variety of production tasks on a shift basis, including equipment operation and repairs, product inspection and packaging, material handling, warehousing and shipping.
• Meet production schedules.
• Assist in inventory for spare parts and operating supplies.
• Repair equipment or assist in repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Suggest continuous improvement ideas for safety, quality, operations, or maintenance.
• Ensure quality product and superior customer value.
• Fill in and work in any area of Sandycreek shop as required per skill level.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
