Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read factory orders and use tape measures accurately.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up the machine according to procedures.
• Make adjustments during setup and run to insure quality work.
• Learn duties of assistant/machine operator and be ready to promote when vacancy arises.
• Monitor quality during production.
• Complete the box quality check on each order.
• Follow lockout and tagout procedures.
• Enter production data into computer.
• Prevent machine jams and count/stack finished product.
• Report significant mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Operate at speeds up to 360 pieces per minute.
• Work near electrical, hydraulic and mechanical energy sources.
• Ensure correct unit configuration per customer requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping around the machine area.
